A General Update

Haven't been blogging. Don't know why no mood to blog. Sorry! So here's a general update. Sometime last week, I helped Jaylce (?) cook pizza!!



It was really not bad, very easy to make and taste quite good considering how amateur-ish we were. Ready made crust, ready made pasta tomato sauce....yar. Quite good!

As i always lamented.....Australia is so very different from home. I feel further away from home here than in England actually. Although the weather here is more similar, the sights and sounds of Brisbane is really a world apart from Singapore. 1stly, the BIRDS are different. The crows are damn noisy and the bird songs in the morning is SUPER not soothing lor! I get woken up by the damn birds. BUt i guess the birds are cool.

Like the Bush Turkey. A very common bird here and found friggin everywhere. Its their version of our common mynah. A very big mynah. AND A FRIGGIN LOUD CALL THAT WAKE ME UP IN THE WEE MORNING!

Next, the aussie Sparrow! AHAHHA! This is a black-headed ibis. Damn cool. Heard so many parrots and parakeets, but can't really see much. Mostly sulphur-crested cockatoos, gelahs and rainbow lorikeets. Not that you guys would know what i'm talking about. :)

Well, the most interesting and EXCITING thing that happened to me while i'm here is that i got....

FORRESTERED!!! Hahah! Look at that....that's just a HANDSOME car. So nice. On my number plate, it says "Queensland -Sunshine State" Damn cool. HAhahah.

Wish my family is here to share the sights and sounds of Brisbane.....
