Ok! NOW its getting boring.

OK FINE I ADMIT! After how many months of not doing anything significant....i AM BORED! SO BORED! I'm so bored i go a fish shop in Telok Blangah at least twice a WEEK! And because of that...i am also broke. So.......now i'm so broke...i can't even PAY to get rid of my boredom. Very pathetic. On the BRIGHT side...i now have a VERY VERY FUCKING impressive collection of plecos!! Suckermounth catfish, or amoured catfish if u dunno wat plecos are. Sorry no photos of them, cos i really REALLY dunno how to take photos of fish. I spent 1 FUCKING DAYS trying to take photos of them and have not even succeeded in ONE CLEAR photo. Irrititaing. Does anyone know? Of course not...cos everyone i know dun even keep fish.

And another thing. I've kinda packed for NS liaoz. I have,

Hangers
Permanent Black Marker Pen
Lock with Keys
Washing powder
Soap
Toothbrush/toothpaste
3 sizes of ziplock bags
goggles
Panadol and lao sai medicine
Pen
Shaver
Prickly Heat
Thirsty Hippo

Did i miss out ANYTHING? Anything more to add? Hopefully not, cos my backpack is full. And i dun want to be like some kiasu bastard bringing a bloody luggage to Pasir Ris.

OH And something to look forward to! If tmr good weather...i going to take loads of pics of Tiny and Coral, so bored boh liao pple like Karen can take a look. :P

Signing on is such a taboo

Recently, due to a variety of reasons, i've been thinking about signing on, and so i wanted to find out more and was thinking of asking some of my male friends for opinions. WHAT did i get? The moment some of them hear 'sign on' and 'SAF' in one sentence, they go "SIAO!" "WAH NO LAR!" or some half assed negative comment. I mean REALLY if i want an unintelligent opinion, i'll go to the zoo.

Everyone has also been asking me about NS. "When going NS? WAH SO SOON?! Faster enjoy while u can." OR "Eh....sad not? Going NS?" Kaoz....i wonder wat they all will advise me if i going to prison instead. I personally believe that every experience won't be all bad. Take for example...UK. I REALLY REALLY FUCKING HATED UK. I dreaded going to airport, but i SWEAR, when i get on that plane, i think, "SHIOK! Freedom. See my room, live with friends. Skip lectures, my year long chalet." BASICALLY, what i am trying to say is. IF you have NO choice in what you have to do. Then why the hell not TRY to enjoy it? WHy need to try to siam it? Geng it? Bitch about it? When in the end of the bloody day, you are going to do it anyway? I mean, pity the poor bastard going to Changi Prison, going to spend 2 years in a cell with a big...strong...gay man.

ANYWAY, back to signing on. I'm seriously thinking of signing a 3 yr contract, largely due to the fact that i don't like wasting my fucking time. I mean THINK about it. I don't sign on, i do the routine NS thing, AND with my PES B status, i would most probably be busy preparing for a war that i will never fight.
Before i graduated, i STRONGLY believed NS was a good thing, and protecting your country is NOT a waste of time. Thankfully, the naive immature cock in me died a long time ago, and i KNOW that going war-gaming with an enemy you won't fight, shooting at targets you don't kill and learning how to survive in jungles you won't fight in....is a FUCKING waste of time! It's not like we are near the 38th parrallel. WELL! Lucky for ME! I have a degree, and even luckier, there is a unit that my degree will be of use. 39 SCE, part of the CBRE (Chemical, Biological, Radiation Explosives) defense group. IF i do get into this unit, i will sign on in a heartbeat and with no regrets. I certainly MIGHT not like it there. But i KNOW i'll hate it a lot more if i'm waist deep in some crocodile infested river in Brunei.

Oh! Is 2006 here?

Another year, another day. No significant achivements, no useful thoughts. From June 2005 to Feb 2006 went by in a blink of an eye. In that time i have fully forgotten anything that has to do with genetics, gained an overall of 5kg, and learnt TWO things.

Lesson 1. Repulsive people are put on this planet to remind you that your sister's boyfriend could have been much worse.

Lesson 2. Carrying out your god-given duty is a lonely, unpleasent, shitty job that reaps no benefits or rewards.

Simply put. I'm looking forward to my long holiday. My holiday in Tekong.
